Mom Life Monday: Every Single Morning

Ah, that charming morning ritual where your husband cheerfully declares how well the baby slept last night and you try not to set fire to the kitchen after receiving only 1.5 hours of sleep due to a crying, not-sleeping baby.

“Pass the sugar, please, dear. The entire bag. Now. Give it to me now.”

Oh boy, I can’t even imagine the amount of coffee consumed for three kids…I’m normally in such a bad mood when I wake up that I prefer to remain in silence for the first hour or so. My toddler usually doesn’t permit this. (“Pancakes, Mama? More applesauce? More. More. Cheese now? No pancakes. Ice cream?”)

Definitely a little sad! You know those mornings where you wake up and you kind of want to cry because it feels like you haven’t gone to sleep yet? Those mornings are ROUGH.

      Thanks for commenting, Lisa!

Even though my babies aren’t babies anymore, I can still relate to Mom Life Monday! It’s hard to get up for work after you’ve had a great weekend!

Hi Anitra! Yup, I find it very hard to get up pretty much every single morning. Luckily, I’m home with the babe but still can’t quite get up without four cups of coffee.

      …Did I say “cups”? I meant “pots.”
